NGC 1934 (also ESO 056-SC109, h 2842, GC 1140) is a magnitude +10.1 emission nebula located in the Large Magellanic Cloud in the constellation Dorado. It is part of a larger N44 nebula.
The nebula was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 23rd November 1834.
