NGC 6447 (also MCG 6-39-19, IRAS 17445+3535, UGC 10975 and PGC 60829) is a magnitude +12.9 face-on barred spiral galaxy located 310 million light-years away in the constellation Hercules. The galaxy is gravitationally interacting with the neighbouring galaxy NGC 6446.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) speculum reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 9th July 1864
