As you may have noticed, a bevy of new features have found their way into Activeboard recently, the most noticeable of which is this new Announcement widget. This new feature will let forum owners send messages to all users.
The news will appear on each page until you click the 'x' in the top right, or the 'dismiss' link, at which point this and all postings will disappear. Back news postings can always be read by clicking on the 'Show All' link at top left.

Some new features implemented in the last weeks and months include, among others:
- A revamped Calendar feature
- Custom Emoticons
- Thread ratings
- Youtube embedding
- Two  new text editors for posting
- Improved security features
- Profile improvements, including the whiteboard, thread subscriptions, and an improved messaging system.
