An International Launch Services Proton rocket with a Breeze M upper stage will launch Eutelsat's Hot Bird 8 direct-to-home TV broadcasting satellite, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan at 21:48 GMT, 4th August.

The Hot Bird 8 will fly aboard a Proton M rocket.

Hot Bird 8 satellite will arrive at Baikonur on June 20.
The Proton-M rocket arrived at Baikonur cosmodrome by rail on April 28th.

The EutelSat satellite will be positioned at 13.0°E and will relace an old Hot Bird 3 satellite.
Launch is confirmed for 21st July, 2006, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan.

any news about hotbird 8 which was supposed to be delivered to baikonur today so that tomorrow preparations will start for the proton-M/Breeze-M launch on the 21st of July????
