The 1600 metre wide comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova will make a close pass (32.4 lunar distances, 0.0832 AU) travelling at 22.91 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 11th February 2017 @ 08:23 UT ±00:01.

The magnitude 11.5 comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova will pass 0.26° from the magnitude 11.8 spiral galaxy NGC 4045 in the constellation Virgo, at 18:00 UT, 30th October, 2011.
