A Japanese H-2A rocket will launch Japan's third Information Gathering Satellite optical reconnaissance spacecraft from the Tanegashima launch complex, Japan, on 10th September, 2006.
The satellite will be able to resolve objects a metre or more in diameter. It's mission will probably be to keep an eye on neighbouring North Korea. Japan's space agency, JAXA, has rescheduled a radar spy satellite, that was originally planned to be launched aboard the same rocket, to fly aboard its own H-2A rocket.
