Despite reports that a meteor fell in a small Arizona town northeast of Sedona Saturday night, authorities say they have yet to find anything. Sedona Fire District dispatchers received several calls late Saturday and just before midnight, someone reported that a meteor might have fallen a half-mile from Interstate 17 near Munds Park, Arizona.
Jeff Hall, who works for Lowell Observatory, was at home when he looked out his window and saw the object.
"The fireball, heading northeast, was really bright, I do not know if whatever that was impacted, but it was exceptionally bright for a meteor" - Jeff Hall.
