It wasn't Armageddon but Kingman residents and residents across Northern Arizona witnessed a fireball late Saturday night.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office took numerous reports of a fireball in the sky near midnight Saturday. One witness saw a bright green glow falling from the sky near the Pea**** Mountains then reported a big white flash of light as it hit the ground. Another witness also saw a bright green glow falling from the north/northwest direction.

As he was driving north on Interstate 17 just beyond the Stoneman Lake exit around midnight Saturday, Richard Garcia saw a blazing fireball seemingly pass overhead in the same direction.

Despite reports that a meteor fell in a small Arizona town northeast of Sedona Saturday night, authorities say they have yet to find anything.
Sedona Fire District dispatchers received several calls late Saturday and just before midnight, someone reported that a meteor might have fallen a half-mile from Interstate 17 near Munds Park, Arizona.

Jeff Hall, who works for Lowell Observatory, was at home when he looked out his window and saw the object.

"The fireball, heading northeast, was really bright, I do not know if whatever that was impacted, but it was exceptionally bright for a meteor" - Jeff Hall.
