Supernova 2009jg

A magnitude15.7 supernova, 2009jg, was discovered on the 22nd September, 2009, by the Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey (CRTS),  in an anonymous galaxy in the constellation Ophiuchus.
The supernova is located 0.3" west and 3.5" south from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000): RA = 17h40m34s.33, Dec = +13°42'49".2
