Supernova 2009kp

A magnitude 15.1 supernova, 2009kp, was discovered on the 3rd November, 2009, by T. Boles, in the spiral galaxy NGC 6246 in the constellation Draco.
The supernova is located 15.0" west and 0.1" south from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000): RA = 16h49m51s.49, Dec = +55°32'35".8
